Homemade gift tags made from felt, stiff felt, thread, ribbon, and eyeballs!
These are just a few of my holiday cards for this year! Made from felt, stiff felt, thread, ribbon, gems, and eyeballs. Then I attached it to folded blank cards I made from bristol paper. I would've used cardstock but that's all I had lying around. ♥

I'm sure most of you have noticed that lately I've been experimenting by adding new types of things to the site. Licensed goods from companies like Hostess, Loungefly, Sanrio, etc... things that I've traditionally steered clear from, until now, because I want to expand to a larger audience. I want to know what you guys think of that since it's something totally new. Think it sucks? Think it's great?

Dude I'm totally addicted to using these sleepy eyes on everything - it's getting a little ridic & I need to stop it!
Anyway, I just got these from the laser cutter and put them up on Etsy - emandsprout.etsy.com - I'll be putting them up on the site in a few days.
This kitty design was based off my lovecats design a.k.a. buttsex kitties:
I changed the face for the charm because they look a little queefy. hope you guys like the necklace!
ps: Does the fact that I post my Em&sprout (etsy shop) stuff here confuse anyone? I don't have a separate space for it yet though I am working on it. I have to say that I feel like such a psycho running around the internet under different aliases. It's ridiculous, but I created it for myself so I shouldn't complain! It would be so much easier if I could just stick to one thing and do it but I really wanna have my weener in all these different holes all at the same time. ehh. |

Welcome to Em & Sprout's first ever Charity Listing! I've been trying to think of cute and fun ways to raise money for my charity of choice: The Kitten Rescue of Los Angeles (kittenrescue.org), and I came up with this idea the other night - I'm so excited about this! Kitten Rescue is the organization I sponsor Taco from and I really like them alot.
You don't have to do anything special, just purchase this item and all proceeds will go directly to the Kitten Rescue of Los Angeles. It's a win-win because you get a cute product but you'll also be helping a kitten or a cat. Heartwarming! If you're purchasing this as a gift for a friend I can send along a little "in kind" note so they're made aware of the gift donation :) After I make the donation I'll cc you a copy of the receipt to your email address so you're assured that the funds have made it safely to to help the kitties!
Now, a little bit about this headband:
I started off with a 1" wide headband and sewed a fleece cover for it. I also sewed the kitty ears out of fleece, attached them to the base, and colored in the ears a rosy pink! I then embellished the ears with double stacked seafoam green bows, attached 2 ringing bells on each side, and topped it off with lovely pink rose centerpieces. I call this the Secret Garden Deluxe Kitty Headband because the colors just remind me of a sweet English garden!
